Fight back against charges of concealed weapon violations

A conviction for any type of weapons charge can have a significant impact on the rest of your life. Florida laws regarding the lawful use of weapons and gun violations are complex and strict, and it is in your interests to take any weapon-related allegations against you seriously. State laws of Florida allow residents to obtain permission to carry a concealed weapon. Be careful where you carry

You may have permission to carry your weapon, but that does not mean you have permission to carry it anywhere you like. In fact, even accidentally carrying a weapon in any of the following places can result in serious legal repercussions:

  • Jail, prisons or other types of detention facilities
  • Courtrooms
  • Liquor stores or areas designated for the sale of alcohol
  • Airports 

This is not an exhaustive list, and there are other places where concealed carrying is against both state and federal laws. Law enforcement and other authorities will assume that permitted gun owners are familiar with the laws, and forgetting about certain rules will not protect you from certain criminal charges.
